Doctor accused of botching penis enlargements

Dr Gary Rheinschild faces possible discipline and even a loss of his medical practice following complaints that he botched up 3 penile enhancement surgeries between 2003 and 2005.

According to the California Medical Board, the urologist, aged 75, is accused of causing gross negligence in his treatment of these 3 men and of continuing to perform surgery despite demonstrating signs of eye problems.
Discussing his case, Rheinschild’s attorney claims that these allegations against his visual capacity are false, as a Judge has already confirmed that Dr Rheinschild is not visually incapable of performing surgery. Continuing in his announcement, his attorney says these claims are a result of opposition seeking to ruin his surgical reputation, and nothing more.

Have they got reason to complain?

Displayed by his medical staff as being ‘eccentric’ but the best in the country, the patient received precedure only to later experience penile deformity and crookedness. Despite begging for corrective surgery Rheinschild refused.

Client Two: 21 year old client approaches Rheinschild in 2005. In his account he noticed that Rheinschild’s surgical hands mostly twitched and his memory was forgetful. Five weeks after the $8,000 surgery, the skin flap stitched onto his penis ripped open and his penis began to shorten and curve. After repetitively seeking out a appointment with Dr Rheinschild – who refused – the client chose to go to another surgical practice to receive cosmetic surgery on his member.

Client Three: Following penis enhancement surgery implemented by Rheinschild, customer number 3 complained of pain and a large scar after skin was taken surgically removed from his back to create the skin graft. Accompanying this pain the client complained that his foreskin was bruising. Despite contacting Dr Rheinschild continually, his calls were never returned until claimant 3 threatened to take his case to Medical officials

Will he lose his surgical licence?

Since this accusations dating back to 2005, Dr G. Rheinschildis claimed to have performed 100's of cosmetic surgeries without errors occurring and in recognition of this history, a Judge has ruled against an immediate end of his licence.

Further court cases are penned to take place in January 2010.
